I pay homage to "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" in the form of...crappy fan art! *dramatic effect*
This is a "what if" piece. What if Nny hadn't tried to kill Devi? What if they made a cute homicidal couple? (I know...impossible since Devi's not *really* insane...but if you've read "I Feel Sick", then it made me think they were kinda kindred spirits...even if they can't be together...Nny wanting to kill everyone and all...) I really did enjoy sketching in this style, though. It meets my preference for gothic style...and super-duper lanky limbs! (most people seem to detest this type of "art style", but I have always secretly loved it...since my characters are rather lanky too...) Characters belong to the tortured-artistic-soul-yet-wonderfully-unique-creator Jhonen Vasquez. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Yeah...he may hate that, but "pfft"! It's the only decent sketch I've been able to pull off in weeks *sorrow*, so it means a lot to me that you like it!
Maybe I should try my hand at a sexy Devi piece (with her cute, purple pig-tails!). I swear I'll get to responding to the e-mail. Just been kinda busy. In fact, I now have to rush to get ready for yet *another* doc appt. (they have found a new disease in me, oh joy of joys...)
